Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Intern to support the respiratory care team in Milwaukee. The intern will help set up patient rooms, maintain equipment, restock supplies, and perform basic clerical duties while enrolled in a respiratory therapy program.

Ideal candidates are accepted into core respiratory courses for Fall 2026 or Spring 2027, with access to BLS certification within six months of hire.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED is required for internship eligibility.
• Enrollment in a CoARC-approved Respiratory Therapy program is required for acceptance into the internship.

• Assist respiratory staff with setup of patient care rooms and equipment.
• Restock equipment and supplies as needed.
• Maintain respiratory supply rooms and par levels in collaboration with staff.
• Communicate with the Respiratory Care Practitioner to plan for patient needs.
• Perform basic clerical tasks and communicate with team members as needed.
