Job summary

The Village of Barrington is seeking three Winter Seasonal Maintenance workers for its Public Works Department. This temporary, 40-hour per week position runs December through March, with overtime as needed. CDL B with airbrakes is preferred, and a valid Illinois driver's license is required.

Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Work outdoors in varying weather and operate power tools and trucks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License; CDL B with airbrakes preferred.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Communicate effectively in English and work outdoors in varying weather.
• 40 hours/week; Monday–Friday 6:30 a.m.–3 p.m.; overtime may be required December–March.
