Job summary

Wasatch Adaptive Sports seeks a Winter Program Manager to lead the winter program team and oversee scheduling, staffing, safety, and partner collaborations. You will supervise coordinators, instructors, and volunteers, align operations with the organization’s mission, and ensure high-quality, accessible winter experiences for participants.

The role requires strong leadership, program management skills, and a commitment to inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of management supervising instructors or staff.
  • Current Utah driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • PSIA-AASI certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience teaching adaptive alpine skiing and/or snowboarding desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead hiring, training, scheduling, and mentorship for winter staff.
  • Develop and maintain training curriculum for winter staff.
  • Oversee volunteer program onboarding, training, and safety.
  • Coordinate with reservations to ensure high-quality program delivery.
  • Collaborate on program vision and cross-season coordination.
  • Provide inclusive leadership as part of program leadership team.
  • Teach lessons as needed and support fundraising and outreach.
