Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current certification as Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC), Wilderness First Responder (WFR), EMT I or higher.
• Strong skiing or snowboarding skills are required to safely perform all duties.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clear all trails before opening to the public and ensure no guests remain on the slopes during closing or bad weather.
• Assess terrain conditions, mark hazards, and open/close terrain based on snow conditions and events.
• Perform on-mountain safety tasks, including tower pads, rope lines, and traffic control.
• Enforce skier safety rules and guest policies; address unsafe behavior.
• Monitor lifts for hazards and report concerns to supervisors.
• Provide first aid and transport injured guests when needed; document incidents.
