Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC), Wilderness First Responder (WFR), EMT I or higher.
• Pre-employment background check.
• Strong skiing or snowboarding skills to safely perform all duties.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clear trails before opening to the public.
• Assess terrain conditions and manage closures based on snow conditions.
• Perform on-mountain safety tasks and assist with lift evacuations when needed.
• Rescue injured guests and administer first aid.
• Transport patients to the aid room using a toboggan as needed.
• Document incident history and notify medical personnel for serious injuries.
• Maintain equipment and assist with snow removal and on-mountain tasks.
