Job summary

Ottawa County is seeking a Park Attendant at Pigeon Creek Lodge in West Olive, MI. The role is seasonal/part-time, with evenings, weekends and holidays required, and a capped annual hour limit.

You will staff customer service, collect fees, and help with cleaning and maintenance of lodge facilities during winter operations. You will work as part of a team under a Parks Supervisor, performing cleaning of public areas, restrooms, kitchens, and snow/ice removal, and assist with events and park

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older; high school or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety notices.
• Ability to interact professionally with the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide general winter labor for cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
• Collect rental and concession fees and process payments.
• Assist with snow removal and ice control.
• Support lodge operations during events and ensure safety guidelines.
• Enforce park rules and assist patrons as needed.
• Perform light cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and public areas.
• Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
