The role emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and fostering school pride. CPR/First Aid certification is required, and experience in LCPS or Virginia teaching licensure is preferred. The position is part-time and season-based.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at high school or college level.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.
• Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time LCPS classified employee.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program.
• Work with the athletic department.
• Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach during the season.
• Carry out duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies for the sports program.
• Recommend disciplinary actions for rule violations.
• Foster pride, sportsmanship, and school/community spirit among athletes.
• Perform other duties as requested by the principal and/or athletic director.
