Seven Oaks Recreation, Inc. in Coal Valley, IA seeks a Chair Lift Operator to safely operate the aerial chairlift and assist guests with loading and unloading, delivering a positive guest experience with safety as the top priority.

This outdoor winter role requires readiness for cold conditions, a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to interact with guests of all ages. Prior chairlift or ski area experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.
• Previous outdoor work, ski area, or chairlift experience preferred but not required.
• Safety-conscious and capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate the chairlift according to established operating and safety procedures.
• Assist guests with safely loading onto and unloading from the chairlift.
• Inspect guest lift tickets and season passes as required.
• Report equipment concerns, unsafe conditions, injuries, or other safety issues to management.
• Maintain loading/unloading ramps and snow surfaces.
• Set up and remove safety signs and barriers before/after opening.
• Greet guests in a friendly, professional manner and provide courteous assistance.
• Work with other departments to ensure a safe, fun guest experience.
