Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in Portland, OR, is hiring for camp staff to supervise and engage children ages 4–12 during day camp sessions. The role involves facilitating activities, maintaining safety, and supporting campers through a variety of creative and athletic stations.

Camp hours run from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, with shifts as scheduled and potential extended days. Compensation ranges per hour reflect experience and location.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age
• Minimum of 2 months experience with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)

Responsibilities

• Staff members will facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness.
• Some staff will create and/or oversee activity spaces in which campers self-select activities.
• Other staff will work in rotating support roles throughout camp.
