Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy power-operated equipment such as cranes, backhoes, loaders, bulldozers.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for heavy equipment and road/park maintenance.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy power-operated equipment to construct, maintain or repair roadways, parkways, parks or drainage systems.
• Operate dump trucks, snow plows, sanders, sweepers and related gear for beach, highway and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain vehicle records and prepare reports.
