Qualifications

• Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class 2 Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
• Possession of a current and valid 2A Massachusetts Hoisting license (This is referred to in the Job Specs as Mass. Class C Equipment Operators License).
• Possession of current and valid CDL license (This is referred to in the Job Specs as a Mass. Class 2 Motor Vehicle Operators License).

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy power-operated equipment such as cranes, backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers and catch basin machines.
• Operates heavy dump trucks, snow plows, sanders, sweepers, and tractor-drawn mowers for roadways, parks, and grounds.
• Performs routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment and maintains records and reports.
• Loads/unloads furniture, equipment and supplies and applies materials such as sand, salt, gravel.
• Works independently with minimal direction and performs related duties as assigned.
