Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking motivated interns to contribute to propulsion and air vehicle projects in a fast-paced defense tech environment. You will help select and integrate engines and components for unmanned air vehicles, design CAD parts, test propulsion systems, and coordinate with vendors, including travel to test sites.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Returning to school after the internship for at least one quarter or semester.
• U.S. Person due to export-controlled information or facilities; clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Select and integrate engines, engine components, and fuel systems for unmanned air vehicles.
• Design, fabricate, and test prototype components and control systems.
• Plan, instrument, and execute tests of aircraft propulsion systems.
• Coordinate with engine vendors and manage development projects.
• Support hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
• CAD design for internal aerodynamic loft, surfaces and structures.
• Travel to test sites as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
