Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking engineering interns for an in-person 16-24 week winter 2027 program in our California offices. You will work on selection and integration of aircraft engines for unmanned air vehicles, and contribute to design, fabrication, and testing of propulsion components.

The role emphasizes collaboration with vendors, rapid prototyping, and test execution, with opportunities to engage in CAD design and aerospace systems development.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
• Ability to complete an in-person 16 to 24-week internship in one of our offices in winter 2027.

Responsibilities

• Critical member of team for selection and integration of aircraft engines, engine components, and fuel systems on unmanned air vehicles
• Design, fabricate, and test prototype components and control systems
• Plan, instrument, and execute tests of aircraft propulsion systems
• Coordinate with engine vendors; develop partnerships and manage development projects
• Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed
• Critical member of team supporting CAD design for internal aerodynamic loft, surfaces and structures
• Travel to test sites as needed
