Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an engineering internship in Costa Mesa, CA to work on unmanned aircraft propulsion, test prototyping, and CAD design. You will help select engines and components, design and test control systems, and coordinate with vendors on development projects.

The role requires pursuing a related bachelor's or master’s degree, returning after the internship, and eligibility for U.S. export-controlled information.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in CS, ME, AE, EE or related field.
• Returning to school after internship for at least one quarter/semester.
• U.S. Person with eligibility for access to restricted information.
• Ability to complete a 16–24 week internship in winter 2027.

Responsibilities

• Select and integrate aircraft engines, components, and fuel systems for UAVs.
• Design, fabricate, and test prototype components and control systems.
• Plan, instrument, and execute tests of propulsion systems.
• Coordinate with engine vendors and manage development projects.
• Support hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
• CAD design for internal aerodynamic lofts, surfaces, and structures.
• Travel to test sites as required.
