Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Winter 2027 Process Engineer Co-op in Knoxville, TN. You will work in a fast-paced, technical manufacturing environment, leading small projects and gaining exposure to DMS, TPM, Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As a full-time 40-hour-per-week co-op, you will support daily operations, analyze downtime, and help communicate results to leadership. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is awarded and the program includes mentorship and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student currently enrolled in a full-time academic program in an engineering or manufacturing-related field.
• Proven ability to use Excel and PowerPoint effectively for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau a plus, strong communication skills and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including DMS for day-to-day operations, new equipment startups, and product qualifications.
• Assist with TPM implementation and Lean activities, including participation in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen events and development of maintenance workstreams.
• Support daily manufacturing operations to deliver targeted safety, quality, production and cost results.
• Prepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results to all levels including senior management.
• Undertake simple project development tasks: write/verify specs, maintain documentation, test processes and equipment, validate processes.
• Contribute to problem solving, cost reduction, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze downtime data and maintain action plans using lean methodology.
• Collect and calculate savings data on improvement projects.
• Recommend methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.
• Balance work priorities to meet day-to-day Plant requirements.
