Job summary

State of Wyoming is seeking a Project Analyst to support the Medicaid Project Management Office. You will coordinate requirements, UAT, testing, and communications across the WMIS portfolio including benefits, provider enrollment, and care management systems.

You will facilitate meetings, draft documentation, assist with procurement, and monitor timelines and budgets for ongoing initiatives in a fast‑paced government environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or 4–6 years of progressive experience in project management as substitution.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for coordinating with state, federal, and vendors.
• Experience in software testing and user acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

• Gather business, functional and non-functional requirements for Medicaid projects.
• Support RFP writing and procurement activities; document decisions and action items.
• Plan, manage, and track project deliverables, milestones and budgets.
• Coordinate with end users to ensure systems meet business needs and validate requirements.
• Lead or support module certification efforts and evidence collection.
• Prepare project communications, reports and documentation for stakeholders.
