Job summary

State of Wyoming, Wyoming Department of Health, Division of Healthcare Financing, seeks a Records & Data Management Analyst for the Long Term Care Eligibility unit. You will determine eligibility for partial caseloads, prepare reports, correct data errors, and update manuals while supporting LTC staff and handling special projects.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s Degree in Benefits and Eligibility with related experience and strong data skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in Benefits and Eligibility strongly preferred as per the job preferences.
• Knowledge of state and federal government functions related to healthcare administration.
• Ability to interpret regulations and apply them to policy and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service to the public, clients, and staff.
• Reviews monthly LTC program reports and identifies issues to mitigate errors.
• Explains policies and procedures to other agencies and officials.
• Processes applications and renewals for LTC programs.
• Assists LTC staff to ensure timely completion of day-to-day activities.
• Compiles data and performs statistical analysis duties.
