Job summary

Lescombes Family Vineyards, a premier New Mexico winery, is hiring for bottling and cellar operation duties. You will support daily production activities, operate bottling and cellar equipment, and assist with wine processing while learning standard procedures and safety protocols.

We seek a team-oriented individual with high school completion, basic mechanical aptitude, and a strong attention to detail. Prior experience in food/beverage production is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new procedures quickly.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Previous experience in machine operation, food/beverage production, or manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily winery production activities, including bottling, labeling, packaging, grape receiving, pressing, wine transfers, and tank operations under supervision.
• Operate and assist with bottling, labeling, packaging, mixers, and cellar equipment; learn machine setup and changeovers.
• Monitor production line and cellar equipment; report issues to supervisors.
• Support cleaning, sanitation, and preventative maintenance including CIP procedures and tank cleaning.
• Assist with wine processing activities and basic analysis while learning procedures and equipment operation.
• Count and verify inventory and bottling materials.
• Complete production, quality control and cellar checklists and learn winery systems like Knack and Innovint.
• Perform physical production tasks to support efficient operations.
• Follow all policies, safety guidelines, and quality standards while training.
