PENN Entertainment in Lake Charles is seeking team members for its hospitality and guest services team. You will provide superior customer service and help guests enjoy menu and beverage options with confident product knowledge.

Qualifications

Two years’ food serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
Familiarity with food, beverage, and wine service.
Knowledge of table service procedures and etiquette.
Excellent customer service skills.
Stable work history.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly, courteous greeting and inform them of daily specials and menu items.
Assist guests with menu and beverage selection, demonstrating salesmanship with complete menu knowledge.
Notify supervisor or kitchen of any food products not properly prepared.
Ensure guest satisfaction through food quality checks and responsive service.
Maintain a well-groomed, neat appearance and a clean dining area with attention to sanitation and safety.
Anticipate and respond to guest needs throughout service.
Perform inventories and other duties as assigned.
Perform tableside cooking, dessert presentation, and wine service as required.
