Job summary

The Wonderful Company is seeking a Store Associate for the Company Store in Paso Robles, CA. You will deliver friendly customer service, knowledgeably present products, handle POS transactions, and assist with wine-related sales and age-restricted product policies.

Responsibilities include keeping the sales floor organized, merchandising, inventory, and collaborating with store leadership to ensure a top-tier customer experience. Must be 21+ for wine-related duties.

Qualifications

• Basic Wine Knowledge (CMS Level 1 or WSET Level 1 plus)
• Wine Pouring Certification required (CA RBS) preferred
• 2+ years of customer service experience
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be at least 21 years of age for wine-related responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge customers and provide a friendly experience
• Develop knowledge of Wonderful products and assist with recommendations
• Complete comprehensive wine education and training on the portfolio
• Guide customers in selecting wines and offer pairing ideas
• Maintain professional, service-oriented presence and reflect the brand
• Resolve questions and escalate issues to management as needed
• Operate and troubleshoot POS system accurately
