Job summary

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa in Hot Springs, Virginia is seeking a Wine Tasting Host for the Virginia Wine Experience to lead tastings, private group sessions, and educational experiences that celebrate Virginia wine.

The ideal candidate has wine knowledge or sommelier training (preferred), strong public speaking and interpersonal skills, and a passion for hospitality and storytelling. Must be 21+ and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior wine knowledge or sommelier training preferred, but not required.
• Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead engaging group experiences with confidence and charm.
• Passion for hospitality, storytelling, and Virginia's wine culture.
• Must be 21+ and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily wine tastings and private group sessions with enthusiasm and expertise.
• Educate guests on Virginia wine regions, varietals, and tasting techniques.
• Create a warm, welcoming, and informative environment for all guests.
• Assist with retail sales and maintain a polished, organized tasting room.
• Collaborate with resort staff to support special events and wine-focused experiences.
