Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment where customers feel welcome and informed about products by answering questions.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries with suggestions.
• Offer product samples per guidelines to help customers discover items.
• Inform customers of wine specials.
• Provide customers with products they request and assist with pairing wine with food.
• Collaborate with store chef for wine tastings and programs.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and logs for coolers.
• Reinforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
