Job summary

JETRO Restaurant Depot is seeking a Wine Steward to receive product, stock aisles, label products, and provide excellent customer service. You will ensure compliance with liquor laws, assist customers with wine and spirits, and support branch managers in developing large customers and new accounts.

Responsibilities include maintaining displays, updating prices, managing licenses, and coordinating with field representatives.

Qualifications

Must know and comply with all state and local liquor laws.
Ability to explain wine and spirits to customers and assist them in the branch.
Strong customer service mindset with ability to build relationships with large accounts.

Responsibilities

Know and comply with all State and Local laws regarding the wholesale of alcohol (beer, wine, liquor, and spirits).
Demonstrate wine and spirits knowledge to assist customers in the branch.
Build and maintain relationships with large customers and help sign up new accounts.
Enforce license limitations by ensuring customers are licensed for items purchased.
Enter customer license information into JSS and maintain contact information database.
Ensure payment methods comply with state/local regulations.
Build and maintain floor displays and attractive product layouts.
Maintain accurate prices and in-store use records for products.
Keep shelves stocked and organized with proper labeling.
Post POS signs, pricing, and event calendars when possible.
Communicate inventory needs to managers and staff.
Travel to different locations as needed.
