Job summary

Festival Foods in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Wine & Spirits Cashier to join our team part-time. You’ll help guests select beverages, answer questions, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service in the Wine & Spirits department.

As a cashier, you will work closely with department leaders to maintain inventory, pricing accuracy, and a welcoming shopping environment while adhering to safety policies and attendance expectations. Prior experience in retail or hospitality is helpful.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age to sample products in wine and spirits.
• Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Ability to apply on-the-job safety training and operate equipment (hand jack, baler, forklift, pallet jack, trash compactor) and perform proper lifting and scanning.

Responsibilities

• Be a Product Guide: help guests find items, offer recommendations, take special orders.
• Deliver Great Service: answer questions, resolve concerns, ensure guests feel supported.
• Support the Team: work with associates and leadership to meet department goals.
• Keep Things Running: maintain inventory levels, ensure pricing accuracy, stock shelves.
• Operate the Register: check out purchases with accuracy and a smile.
• Ensure Cleanliness: maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members.
• Communicate & Collaborate: work with vendors, managers, and peers to exceed expectations.
• Honor Commitments: maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: other duties as assigned.
