Job summary

Winebow in Greensboro, NC seeks a results-driven Marketing and Sales Representative to expand distribution of wine and spirits within an established territory. You will work with local buyers and restaurant partners to grow market share, negotiate terms, and deliver informative programs.

This role requires at least two years in marketing or sales, strong communication, and reliable computer skills. Some travel, tastings, and collaboration with accounting and customer service are routine.

Qualifications

• Two years of marketing or sales experience.
• Restaurant/Wine Shop experience preferred.
• Demonstrated computer knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops an effective marketing and sales strategic plan.
• Maintains routine contact with key decision makers.
• Effectively negotiates and manages local purchasing agreements and contracts.
• Provides timely educational programs, materials and services when deemed necessary.
• Works with the District Manager and Sales Director to monitor sales growth and market penetration using monthly reporting tools.
• Participates in wine and spirits education programs, hosts dinners and pouring events, including tastings.
• Coordinates with accounting to resolve billing issues within the territory.
• Communicates with Customer Service regarding ordering or shipping needs in the territory.
• Meets agreed upon goals and objectives on time.
• Arrives at work, appointments, meetings, and related functions on schedule.
• Willing to travel as required.
