ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is hiring an Assistant Sales Consultant to help deliver an outstanding guest experience in our Florida store. You will greet guests, share knowledge about wine, spirits, beer, and cigars, and support stocking, merchandising, and store operations.

The role emphasizes proactive service, accurate POS use, and age verification for alcohol purchases, with opportunities to participate in training and product education.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required, though customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Keep shelves clean, stocked, and well-organized; follow training and policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Learn and share knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, cigars, and other products to promote sales.
• Support merchandising and operational standards; maintain clean, organized shelves.
• Stay current on training, policies, and product knowledge for compliant, high-quality guest experience.
• Operate a POS system accurately; process payments and discounts.
• Maintain Responsible Vendor status during alcohol purchases by checking IDs for age verification.
• Wrap and package purchases, offer carry-out, and help create custom gift baskets.
• Assist with truck deliveries by unloading, stocking, and organizing inventory.
