The Corkery Wine & Spirits in New York City's Financial District is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable Wine & Spirits Sales Associate to join our team. You should enjoy helping customers choose bottles from everyday to gifts and making thoughtful recommendations based on taste and budget.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with selections, operating the POS, maintaining displays, and helping with inventory, online/delivery orders, and daily store operations.

The Corkery Wine & Spirits is a family-owned wine and spirits shop in New York City's Financial District, and we're looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and dependable Wine & Spirits Sales Associate to join our team.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys wine and spirits, loves working with customers, and takes pride in providing great service. You should be comfortable helping customers choose everything from an everyday bottle of wine to a special gift, making thoughtful recommendations based on taste and budget, and creating the welcoming, personal experience our customers have come to expect.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with wine and spirits selections, operating the POS system, maintaining displays and keeping the store organized, assisting with inventory, preparing online and delivery orders, and helping with the day-to-day operation of the store.

Previous wine and spirits retail experience is strongly preferred. We're looking for someone with solid wine and spirits knowledge, strong communication and customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team. Applicants must be comfortable lifting and moving cases of wine and spirits and working a retail schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

This is a full-time position with an annual salary range of $50,000-$55,000, depending on experience. Employee discount and paid time off are included.
