Job summary

Astor Wines & Spirits, NYC's leading wine and spirits retailer, is seeking a dynamic Wine & Spirits Consultant to join our sales team.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in a related sales role and a broad knowledge of wine and spirits, with exceptional customer service. This is a full-time, on-site position with day and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays; you must be able to lift 40 lbs. Compensation includes commission plus hourly pay and benefits.

Job description

Astor Wines & Spirits, one of NYC's leading wine and spirits retailers and an employee owned company, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our sales team as a Wine & Spirits Consultant.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in an industry-related sales role (retail, restaurant or other) and exhibit exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills. The ability to work closely with other members of the team is essential, as is attention to detail.

A broad knowledge of wine and spirits is required to fulfill this role.

Compensation is commission based plus hourly in addition to benefits which include health insurance, accrued vacation, a 401(k) and the opportunity for growth within our company.
