Job summary

Wine Industry Expo in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, including opening/closing, checkout, cash handling, and NJ Lottery. Bring your wine and spirits knowledge and a passion for great service.

You will train and schedule staff, maintain inviting displays, manage inventory, and promote products on Instagram and Facebook. 40+ hours weekly with mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of liquor store sales experience or 2+ years of liquor store management experience.
• Strong wine and spirits knowledge, communication, and computer skills.
• A dependable attitude and pride in great customer service.
• Availability for 40+ hours weekly, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening/closing, checkout, cash handling, and NJ Lottery operations.
• Recommend wines and spirits with confidence.
• Support staff training, scheduling, and teamwork.
• Keep shelves stocked, displays inviting, and the store looking its best.
• Help showcase products on Instagram and Facebook.
