Job summary

Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Casual Restaurant Server for The Grill, a casual sit-down restaurant & bar. You will provide high-quality, personalized service to members and guests, with strong wine & beverage knowledge in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates are available evenings and weekends and can handle 3–5 shifts per week across indoor and outdoor dining areas, contributing to a seamless dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.
• Background in serving preferred.
• Wine & beverage knowledge preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Availability evenings and weekends; 3–5 shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Follow opening, side-work, and closing checklists.
• Greet members by name and provide personalized service.
• Maintain knowledge of wine, beer, liquor, and menu items.
• Take orders, input into POS, and ensure accurate processing.
• Assist with seating and maintain table cleanliness throughout shifts.
• Adhere to Virginia ABC laws and safety procedures.
