Job summary

Gary's Wine & Marketplace, a leading wine retailer in the tri-state area, seeks a wine associate with extensive knowledge and a passion for learning. You will deliver outstanding service to help guests find wines to meet their needs and participate in tastings and special orders.

The role requires building displays, stocking shelves, and promoting wine events, with a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. A wine certificate is a plus and strong local relationships are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of wine sales experience.
• Established local client baseportfolio.
• Energetic, organized, and self-motivated.
• Attention to detail with strong follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Sell wine with a high level of knowledge for priority items.
• Greet guests and assist purchases; promote store events and tastings.
• Build, update, and restock displays; keep shelves stocked and clean.
• Conduct consumer tastings and represent sampling protocol.
• Attend tastings; learn trends in the wine industry and expand knowledge.
• Assist with special orders and cross-promote products during display setup.
