Job summary

Gary's Wine & Marketplace seeks a wine associate with extensive knowledge and a passion for learning. You will serve guests with expert guidance on wine selections, pairings, and promotions, while contributing to tastings and special orders.

The role requires strong product knowledge, a professional can-do attitude, and the ability to build displays and maintain organized shelves. Weekends, some evenings, and holidays are required, with a focus on excellent service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of wine sales experience.
• Established local client base portfolio.
• Energetic, organized and self-motivated.
• Attention to detail with excellent follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell wine with a high level of knowledge and promote priority items.
• Greet and engage guests, assist with purchases and inquiries; promote store events and tastings.
• Know products promoted online and in media advertising.
• Promote Gary's Cards and Wine of the Month signups.
• Estimate party orders and participate in tastings; build/ restock displays.
