Job summary

Wine Library seeks a passionate wine professional to engage our fine wine clientele and craft engaging content for our social media channels. You will develop 1-1 relationships with our extensive client list, assist with wine selections, and evaluate premium wine offers for email and text marketing campaigns.

You will also contribute on the shop floor during peak hours, leveraging deep wine knowledge to help both new enthusiasts and seasoned collectors, and help organize tastings and staff

Qualifications

• 2+ years of wine experience assisting customers in selecting wines.
• Passion for wine and people.
• WSET or comparable certifications are a plus.
• Extensive wine knowledge with a strong ability to sell.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 1-1 relationships with our client list to assist them with wines and recommendations.
• Evaluate new premium wine offers for our email and text marketing list.
• Create daily content for social media discussing current hot topics in the world of wine.
• Work the floor during peak hours, assisting guests with selecting wine, spirits, beer and more.
• Demonstrate extensive wine knowledge to assist both new wine lovers and seasoned collectors.
• Set up and conduct samplings and staff trainings when needed.

Wine Library has an excellent career opportunity for an individual with extensive wine and spirits knowledge and a strong customer service background. This role will primarily be spent speaking with our fine and rare wine client list as well as making content for our social media accounts centered around current events in the fine wine world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain 1-1 relationships with our extensive client list to assist them with wines they are looking for as well as making recommendations for future purchases.
• Evaluate new premium wine offers for our email and text marketing list.
• Create daily content for social media discussing current hot topics in the world of wine that are trending
• Works the floor during peak hours,assisting guests with help on selecting Wine, Spirits, Beer and more
• Possess commanding knowledge of wine in general to ensure you can assist both new wine lovers looking to learn about new wines to try as well as seasoned collectors looking for a specific fine and rare bottle.
• Setting up and conducting samplings and staff trainings when needed

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of wine experience in a position where your main responsibility was to help customers find and select wines.
• Passion for wine and people
• WSET or comparable wine certifications are not required but a plus if you have them
• Extensive wine knowledge with a strong ability to sell and a proven track record of such
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
• Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic
