Job summary

Big Red Liquors is seeking a Wine Manager to lead the Wine Department and ensure outstanding guest service while driving sales and profitability. The role focuses on product knowledge, inventory control, and staff development in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will train Wine Sales Associates, analyze trends, and coordinate with merchandising and marketing teams to optimize presentation and assortment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CSW Certification is required to maintain the position.
• Two years of management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wine is essential.
• Experience in retail or on-premise setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain guest services in the Wine Department.
• Oversee operation of the Wine Department to maximize sales and profitability.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and expense control.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures through staff meetings and audits.
• Train and develop Wine Sales Associates.
