Currently, we operate 9 grocery stores, a produce warehouse, and our headquarters in Mill Valley, CA. We succeed by providing a wide variety of quality products in an attractive environment.

About the Role

Mollie Stone’s Markets is looking for a Full-Time Wine and Spirits Manager at our Grand Central location.

The ideal candidate will have a passion and experience in wine and specialty spirits, with a desire to expand their product knowledge to offer a tailored shopping experience. A love for food and grocery is also essential.

Essential Functions

1. Assist customers with questions while providing exceptional service.
2. Stay current and expand knowledge of wine and spirits to inform and educate customers, including suggestions and pairing ideas.
3. Merchandise and maintain signage throughout the department.
4. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays; maintain stock levels.
5. Control inventory.
6. Transport merchandise from storage to sales floor.

Assist in other departments and cashiering as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-3 years of retail experience focused on wine/spirts and management.
• Ability to develop and maintain product knowledge.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and energetic.
• Willingness to cross-train in other departments.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift at least 50 lbs.

Work Conditions

• Stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
• Reach for items up to 4 hours per day.
