Alignment Health is seeking a bilingual Spanish care coordinator to join the remote Care Anywhere team, who has front office medical assistant experience supporting providers. The Care Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, organizing and managing all aspects of a patient’s healthcare maintenance and treatment. Helps patients complete paperwork, communicates with a healthcare team about a patient’s treatment plan and educates patients about resources and options for managing their health.GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
Job Requirements:
Experience:
• Required: Minimum 1 experience entering referrals and prior authorizations in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: 2+ years healthcare experience.
Education:
• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Training:
• Preferred: Medical Terminology
Specialized Skills:
• Required:
• Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Licensure:
• Required: None
• Preferred: Medical Terminology Certificate preferred
