Responsibilities

• Open and close procedures including balancing cashiers and the safe and compiling required sales reports.
• Walk the store to evaluate department conditions, maintenance, merchandising, staffing and customer service levels.
• Control shrink by monitoring front end and preventing theft by customers and employees.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Observe safety regulations when operating equipment and follow all safety procedures.

Overview

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Keep floor clear of debris and spills.
• Monitor storage area for cleanliness, neatness and preparing for next shift; i.e. make bales, make room for future deliveries.
• Check in all vendors, matching incoming product with purchase orders
• Handle damaged or return to stock products according to company policy.
• Responsible for all opening and closing procedures, i.e. balancing cashiers and the safe as well as compiling required sales reports.
• Walk the store routinely to evaluate and assess department conditions, building maintenance, product levels, merchandising standards, staffing, and customer service levels.
• Control shrink by monitoring front end as well as potential customer and employee theft.
• Greet all customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Observe all safety regulations when operating equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures relating to opening cartons, rotation of product. .
• Must be knowledgeable in the various types of products carried in the store.
• Utilize equipment as required by department.
• Dress according to company policy to include uniform, name badge.
• Comply with all Store rules, Company policies, safety requirements, security standards and all local State and Federal health and civil code regulations.
• Adhere to all Federal, State and Local regulations as they pertain to the liquor industry
• Complete all applicable equipment training programs, specifically the WAVE and pallet jack.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
