Job summary

Mumm Napa seeks a hospitality representative to deliver an outstanding winery experience in a guest-focused role. You will work with a team to ensure superb service, sales, andWine Club sign-ups while sharing your passion for wine with guests.

Expect to greet visitors, educate them about the winery and wines, host tastings, and assist with tours for trade, VIPs, or club members. Maintain daily operations and contribute to events and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven sales results in wine or related industry.
• Knowledge of wine and wine production with 1–3 years experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Professional appearance and reliable schedule.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an outstanding and unique experience.
• Greet guests warmly and educate them about Mumm Napa’s history and wines.
• Develop relationships to encourage repeat visits and future sales.
• Assist with reservations at restaurants, hotels, and other wineries as needed.
• Host tastings and describe wines and winemaking techniques.
• Promote and sell Wine Club, products and gift merchandise.
• Assist with events, tastings, VIP luncheons/dinners, and staff meetings.
• Stay current on wine reviews and industry issues.
• Learn about other wineries to recommend tasting experiences.
• Assist with daily operations, inventory, and cash register duties.
