Job summary

Family Fare, LLC is seeking a hands-on department lead to manage day-to-day operations in a Grand Rapids store. You will oversee inventory, scheduling, and staff development while upholding company standards and goals.

You will coordinate with vendors, ensure freshness and quality, and implement weekly plans to meet KPIs and guest experience guidelines. Experience in retail and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
• 0-2 years of retail experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day department operations in a retail store
• Order and maintain inventory to ensure freshness and quality
• Review received orders for amount, quality, count/weight and proper storage
• Manage vendors for stocking, production and date-sensitive rotations
• Maintain knowledge of in-store products, ads, pricing and rewards programs
• Communicate and execute weekly flight plans per company expectations
