Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Wine Bar Server in Asheville, NC to coordinate table service and deliver world-class guest experiences. You will interact with guests, knowledgeably present Biltmore Wines, and work with front- and back-of-house teams to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• At least six months of wine-service experience in a fine dining setting.
• Ability to learn wine details and convey them to guests.
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs and maintain positive guest relations.
• Deliver wine and food items promptly to guests.
• Maintain wine knowledge and up-sell with guests.
• Open and close operations and keep bar clean and stocked.
• Coordinate with front- and back-of-house teams to ensure world-class service.
• Promote Vanderbilt Wine Club and inform guests about programs.
