Job summary

A technology consulting firm is looking for a Windows Systems Engineer for a 3-month contract in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience with MS Windows Server 2008 & 2012, VMware, and a solid understanding of server infrastructure. Key skills include troubleshooting and ensuring the security of network and server infrastructure. Local candidates are strongly preferred. Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience with MS Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with VMware versions 5.5/6.0.
• Experience with troubleshooting storage devices and HP Blade Servers.

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

• 3 -5 years MS Windows Server 2008 & 2012 including
• Server Builds, Hardware & Server Operating Systems
• VMware experience (5.5/6.0 versions)
• OS Knowledge of UNIX/Linux
• Experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting Storage devices
• Experience installing, testing, and troubleshooting HP Blade Servers
• Analytical skills/understating complex projects
• Experience with proactively ensuring networks, server & environmental infrastructure is available & secure
• Ability to logically troubleshoot & evaluate server connectivity issues
• Thorough knowledge & understanding of Server infrastructure and OS
• Familiar with Windows Domain, Active Directory, DNS, Telnet, DHCP, FTP, SSL
• Active Directory
