Job summary

Astrion is seeking a Systems Administrator II (Windows) to support U.S. Navy enterprise IT operations in Dahlgren, VA. The role requires on-site administration of Windows networks, servers, and software, along with security and performance optimization to sustain mission-critical systems.

Qualified candidates must be US citizens with active DoD Top Secret clearance and DoD IA Level II designation, and have 4+ years of Windows administration experience. On-site work in Dahlgren, VA is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows networks, servers, and software supporting Navy operations.

• Monitor configurations, performance, and capacity; optimize as needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, network, and user access issues.
• Maintain security tooling (firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS).
• Develop system specs, procedures, and documentation.
• Support procurement and market research for IT resources.
