Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support a federal government client in Northern Virginia. This is a full-time, on-site role with salary between $140,000 and $200,000 annually, contingent on experience and clearance.

Responsibilities include administering Windows server and workstation environments, ensuring security policy alignment, and delivering user-focused support in a multi-system environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• Active TS/SCI with FS Poly adjudicated within the last five years.
• Relevant certifications in programming and development, cloud and infrastructure, architecture and design, or related networking, cybersecurity, or technology disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Administers and sustains Windows server and workstation environments and supporting platforms to maximize availability and utilization.
• Supports LAN/WAN operations in alignment with CIO, communications, and information security policies.
• Assess proposed operating changes for impact to network and system performance.
• Diagnoses and resolves complex system and network performance issues using advanced network analysis tools and cost/benefit tradeoffs.
• Delivers customer-focused support in multi-system/multi-application environments and communicates technical procedures clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
