Job summary

Epic’s Madison-area campus is seeking a Windows Server Engineer to design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable infrastructure powering Epic training environments and hosted client systems. The role blends hands-on engineering with automation and security hardening, requiring collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating Windows Server-based infrastructure.
• Experience with web hosting using IIS and remote platforms like Citrix.
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell preferred) and exposure to CI/CD.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Windows-based application delivery platforms for Epic’s staff, customers, and training environments.
• Automate tasks, harden security, and collaborate across teams to support evolving services.
