Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Windows Server System Administrator to join our healthcare-focused team. You will perform hands-on vulnerability remediation, patch management, and security hardening across Windows Server environments, testing and deploying updates via SCCM/MECM and manual methods as needed.

The role requires 3+ years of enterprise Windows Server experience, familiarity with Qualys, and adherence to change-management processes.

Qualifications

3+ years of Windows Server administration in an enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
Experience using Qualys to identify vulnerabilities and validate remediation.
Experience deploying patches through SCCM/MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager).
Experience working within formal change management processes, including testing, rollback plans, and change documentation.
Strong troubleshooting skills related to patching, server issues, and remediation failures.
Experience implementing Windows Server security hardening and configuration standards.
Ability to validate patch compliance and vulnerability closure through reporting and rescans.

Responsibilities

Test and deploy Windows updates through SCCM/MECM and manual methods when necessary.
Implement and maintain Windows Server hardening standards and secure baselines.
Review and validate remediation findings with Qualys rescans and compliance reviews.
Coordinate patch deployments with change control processes and maintenance windows.
Troubleshoot patch failures and service disruptions; support restoration efforts.
Track patch compliance, vulnerability aging, and remediation success rates for reporting.
