eNGINE is hiring a Windows Server Patching Administrator to support a large-scale patching program for a major financial institution. You will install Windows server patches through SCCM and resolve installation issues across SQL, application, and web servers.

The role emphasizes structured, execution-heavy work in a controlled environment. Patching occurs during evenings, nights, and weekends when systems can be offline.

Qualifications

• Hands-on patching Windows servers with SCCM.
• Experience as Windows Server technician/administrator/engineer.
• Familiarity with AD, file permissions, and command-line tools.
• Ability to diagnose patching failures and fix issues.
• Willingness to work onsite and cover nontraditional hours.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable with documented processes.
• Vulnerability management experience a plus.
• Financial-services experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install and manage Windows server patches using SCCM
• Troubleshoot and remediate unsuccessful or incomplete patch installations
• Support patching across SQL, application, and web server environments
• Work with command-line tools, file permissions, and Active Directory
• Complete required change-management documentation and reporting
• Follow established banking, compliance, and patching procedures
• Participate in scheduled evening, overnight, and weekend maintenance windows
• Assist with vulnerability-remediation activities as the role expands
