Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator for the 3rd shift (9 PM to 5 AM) to join the CESO effort in San Antonio, Texas. The role focuses on administering Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft-based infrastructure services in a 100% on-site setting.

Responsibilities include server installation, patching, backup and disaster recovery, monitoring, incident response, change management, and automating tasks with PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in Windows servers.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8750 IAT Level II certification or higher.
• Willing to work 24/7 shifts, nights/weekends/holidays.
• Experience with VMware.
• Experience with PowerShell and Python.
• Experience applying DISA STIGs.
• Strong AD/DNS/DHCP/GP support.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

We are currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator 3rd shift (9PM to 5AM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population.

This position is based in San Antonio, TX and is 100% on-site.

Primary Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments across physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft-based infrastructure services.
• Perform server installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and system health.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, and access controls.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware.
• Implement and maintain server backup and disaster-recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot operating-system, application, network, and server-related issues.
• Apply security updates, hardening standards, and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
• Participate in incident response, change management, and infrastructure projects.
• Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell where appropriate.
• Provide escalation-level support for Windows infrastructure issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of overall related experience with a Windows servers environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
• An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.
• Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.
• Comfortable working 24O7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Candidate may be asked to obtain CI Poly in future
• Experience with configuration, troubleshooting and maintaining VMware environments.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and experience in other languages like Python.
• Experience with application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.
• Proficient with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Microsoft-based infrastructure services.
• Experience with System (hardware) and application (software) installation and configuration.
• Application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experienced with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners
• TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred
• Experience with AWS EC2, S3.
• Candidates with a thorough knowledge of networking principles to included TCP/IP a plus.
• Experience with a ticketing system such as BMC Remedy.
• Linux OS experience.

Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
