Job summary

Leidos Inc. seeks a Network Administrator for a 3rd shift (9 PM–5 AM) to join the CESO. The role is 100% on-site in San Antonio, TX, supporting a modern secure web service with automated platforms and a rapidly expanding customer base.

The candidate will monitor network performance, plan maintenance, and configure devices while ensuring security and high availability across the enterprise. A TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570 IAT II certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI poly if required.
• DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II (e.g., Security+ CE).
• BS in computer science or IT with 2+ years of experience.
• Willing to work 24/7 shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability.
• Experience configuring switches and routers.
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Experience configuring 802.1x; S2S/IPSec tunnels; VLANs.

We are currently seeking a Network Administrator 3rd shift (9PM to 5AM) to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population.

This position is based in San Antonio, TX and is 100% on-site.

Primary Responsibilities

• Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure network availability for user access and services.
• Proactively identify risks and issues in the network and complete actions to mitigate them.
• Able to plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security to protect and improve network infrastructure.
• Receive and review user requests to establish or resolve issues with user access to services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and elevate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software

Basic Qualifications

• Currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain CI poly if required
• Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.
• BS in computer science or IT and 2+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree*
• Comfortable working 24O7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability
• Experience in configuring switches and routers.
• Experience working with Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Ability to change and configure 802.1xPrior experience troubleshooting S2S/IPSEC tunnels connection.
• Experience conducting VLAN configurations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners
• TS/SCI w/CI Poly Preferred
• AWS Cloud service experience
• Experience with Palo Alto devices

Pay Range:Pay Range $59,150.00 - $106,925.00
