Job summary

CDW LLC. is seeking an experienced Microsoft core infrastructure engineer to deliver on-premises and hybrid support for Managed Services customers across the United States. The role emphasizes Windows Server, Active Directory, domain controllers, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and endpoint management.

Cloud experience is valuable but not primary. You will troubleshoot complex issues, manage cases, document resolutions, mentor peers, and participate in an on-call rotation to meet service levels

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of Microsoft support experience, or 7 years IT engineering with 3 years MS support.
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft core infrastructure technologies (Windows Server, AD, domain controllers, Group Policy).
• Experience in ticket-driven, case-based, reactive support environments and customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide Microsoft core infrastructure support for on-premises environments and hybrid/cloud when needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Windows Server, Active Directory, domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, and related tech.
• Assess issues, identify root causes, and drive cases to resolution with clear communications.
• Manage service requests through a case queue, provide timely status updates, and document steps and resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage Microsoft support for escalation as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation and client calls; adhere to SLAs and company policies.
• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials.
