Job summary

MKS2 Technologies, LLC is seeking a Microsoft Windows Field Deployment Technician to support VA EHR deployment efforts. You will image, deploy, configure, and test PCs, laptops, docking stations, monitors, printers, and related peripherals, ensuring security compliance and up-to-date VA images.

The role requires physical work, on-site and off-site locations, and occasional travel with daytime hours and potential for extended hours.

Qualifications

• Experience imaging and installing computer equipment.
• Ability to unpack/re-pack and move IT equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with hardware and software support and system imaging.
• Strong customer service and on-site support skills.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and network connectivity setup.

Responsibilities

• Imaging, setting up, configuring, and deploying PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
• Unpack, repack, and transport equipment across VA sites and training centers.
• Ensure equipment has current VA image and is ready for security scans.
• Travel to VA facilities and training locations as needed; work day hours with possible evenings/weekends.
